Tobias S. Köhler, MD, MPH, FACS, Professor of Urology, specializes in the treatment of erectile and sexual dysfunction, and BPH (enlarged prostate) in the Department of Urology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He is head of Mayo Men’s Health and Program Director for the Mayo Andrology Fellowship. Dr. Köhler is an active member of American Urological Association, North Central Section, and is the President elect of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America. He has published more than 250 peer reviewed scientific articles, book chapters and scientific abstracts and presented both locally and nationally on various subjects including erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, BPH, surgical education, and penile prostheses.

Dr. Landon Trost is a Urologist and affiliate faculty at Brigham Young University, specializing in vasectomy reversals, Peyronie’s Disease, and male infertility. He is the Director of the Male Fertility and Peyronie’s Clinic and the President of the charity, CURE PD. He received his undergraduate training at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and Valedictorian. He underwent his medical training at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA where he received all honors and was awarded Junior AOA status. He completed residency training in urology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and was named as a Mayo Scholar Recipient. He continued specialty fellowship training in andrology and infertility at Tulane University, University of Florida, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He then served as the Chief of Andrology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Trost has served in several positions including on the American Urological Association Guideline Panels for Hypogonadism, Peyronie’s Disease, and Priapism, Chair of the Education Committee for the International Society of Sexual Medicine, Chair of the Website Committee for the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, Board of Directors for the International Society of Sexual Medicine and Sexual Medicine Society of North America, American Board of Urology Examination Committee, and as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Sexual Medicine. He contributed to the core curriculum material for the American Urological Association on the topics of male hypogonadism and male infertility and was on the guideline panel for penile prostheses, vacuum therapies, traction devices, and vascular surgery for erectile dysfunction during the 2015 International Consultation on Sexual Medicine.

Dr. Yafi is Associate Professor of Urology, Chief of the Division Men’s Health and Reconstructive Urology, Director of Men’s Health and Newport Urology at the University of California, Irvine. His practice is specialized in men’s health, erectile dysfunction, hypogonadism, Peyronie’s disease, prosthetic surgery, male voiding dysfunction/enlarged prostate and male infertility.

Dr. Yafi earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut. He then served his internship in General Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and subsequently completed his residency in Urology at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. He then completed a two year fellowship in Andrology, Sexual Medicine and Prosthetic Urology at Tulane University. Dr. Yafi is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Yafi serves on numerous national and international society committees as both member and chair. With the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, he serves as vice-chair of the Fellowship grants committee, Middle East liaison and member of the Industry Relations committee and has served as chair of the Abstract Review Committee for the 2017 annual meeting. He was the co-chair of the Scientific Committee for the 2020 annual meeting and chair of the Scientific Committee for the 2021 meeting. With the International Society for Sexual Medicine, he has served two terms as chair of the Grants and Prizes committee and is currently the chair of the Consultation and Guidelines committee. With the Société Internationale d’Urologie, he serves as chair of the Office of Education. Finally, he is a member of the American Urological Association Priapism guidelines. Dr. Yafi also serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Visualized Surgery, the Thai Journal of Urology and the Video Journal of Prosthetic Urology.

Dr. Yafi is the director of the International Advanced Male Prosthetics and the Advanced Men’s Health courses held yearly at UCI since 2018, was chair of the penile prosthetic courses at the Société Internationale d’Urologie congresses in Korea and Greece and was chair of the inflatable penile prosthesis course at the 2020 SMSNA meeting. Dr Yafi was also faculty member for 2 instructional courses at the 2022 AUA meeting (Reconstructive Urology for the General Urologist; Evaluation and Management of Peyronie’s Disease) and again at the 2023 AUA meeting (Reconstructive Urology for the General Urologist).

Dr. Yafi has an avid interest in both basic and clinical research. He has contributed more than 180 peer-reviewed publications, educational guidelines and book chapters, has been invited as a visiting professor and a speaker at multiple national and international venues, and has received multiple national and international awards and recognitions, including the University of California Irvine Rising Stars award in 2020. Along with his wife Natalie, he is the co-editor of a book entitled “Effects of Lifestyle on Men’s Health”.

Dr. Shindel is a Professor of Urology at University of California San Francisco. He has been a member at large of the SMSNA and was Chair of the AUA Disorders of Ejaculation Guideline panel and is current chair of the AUA Core Curriculum.

Mohit Khera, M.D., M.B.A., M.P.H. earned his undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University. He subsequently earned his Masters Degree in Business Administration and his Masters Degree in Public Health from Boston University. He received his Medical Degree from The University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and completed his Urology residency training in the Scott Department of Urology at Baylor College of Medicine. After finishing a six-year residency in Urology, he completed a one-year fellowship in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. Currently a Professor in the Scott Department of Urology at Baylor College of Medicine, he specializes in male and female sexual dysfunction and hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Khera also serves as the Director of the Laboratory for Andrology Research, the Medical Director of the Baylor Executive Health Program and the Faculty Group Practice Medical Director of the Scott Department of Urology. Dr. Khera was also appointed the F. Brantley Scott Chair in Urology.

Dr. Khera has dedicated his clinical and research efforts to three main areas: testosterone, erectile dysfunction, and Peyronie’s disease. Soon after completing my fellowship he started the Laboratory for Andrology Research. His laboratory focuses on basic science research on testosterone and its effects on the prostate, stem cells to treat erectile dysfunction, the effects of finasteride on sexual function, and genetic markers of hypogonadism. In his laboratory he has had the opportunity to train many residents and research fellows. In addition to his basic science research, he has initiated numerous FDA approved clinical trials. His basic science and clinic experiences have allowed him to thus far give over 200 lectures at scientific meetings, publish over 100 articles in peer reviewed journals, complete 15 book chapters, and edit and write two books all in the field of sexual medicine.

In 2007 he was awarded the American Urologic Association (AUA) Research Scholars Award to study the correlation between ED and BPH. In 2013 he was elected to serve a 4 year term on the American Urologic Society Examination Committee. Dr. Khera has also served on the AUA Peyronie’s Disease and Erectile Dysfunction Guidelines Panel. For the past several years he has taught numerous course in testosterone therapy and sexual dysfunction nationally and throughout the world. Finally, Dr. Khera currently serves as the Immediate Past President of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America.

Dr. Khera freely shares his time and knowledge with the general public. He has been voted one of Houston’s Best Doctors by Health and Sport Fitness Magazine and by Houstonia Magazine and is a frequent guest on such TV programs as Fox News’ “Ask the Doctor.” He also writes a blog on Men’s Health for the Houston Chronicle Newspaper.

Petar Bajic, MD, is a board-certified urologist and fellowship-trained specialist in men's sexual and urinary dysfunction in the Center for Men’s Health at the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute in Cleveland, Ohio. He is Assistant Professor of Urology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Bajic earned his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. After completing an internship in general surgery, Dr. Bajic undertook his urology residency training at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, where he received a Certificate of Distinction in Quality and Safety and was a two-time recipient of the Magis Star Award for Excellent Patient Care. He followed this by completing a fellowship in Andrology and Male Genital Reconstructive Surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Bajic is an avid researcher and physician-scientist. He was the recipient of the 2020 SMSNA’s Young Clinicians Research Grant for his work on implant biofilms. His work on prostate enlargement was awarded First Prize in the Chicago Urological Society Charles B. Huggins Resident Essay Contest. Dr. Bajic is Associate Editor for Urology, the Gold Journal, and an Editor for The Journal of Sexual Medicine. He is a regular reviewer for top urology journals including The Journal of Urology, European Urology, Nature Reviews Urology and Sexual Medicine Reviews. He holds committee positions in several professional organizations including the American Urological Association (AUA), the International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM) and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA). He is also involved in patient advocacy efforts on the national and state level, and is a member of the AUA's State Advocacy Committee. Dr. Bajic treats men for erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease (penile curvature), sexual dysfunction due to cancer treatment, buried penis, low testosterone, urinary incontinence, vasectomy and prostate issues. He specializes in optimizing quality of life through minimally invasive techniques and opiate-free surgery.

Dr. Helen L. Bernie is a board certified, fellowship-trained urologist and the Director of Male Sexual and Reproductive Medicine at Indiana University. She is also an Assistant Professor of Urology at the IU School of Medicine.
Dr. Bernie completed her six-year residency in Urology at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester NY, and went on to complete a two-year fellowship in Male Sexual and Reproductive Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the Center for Male Reproductive Medicine and Microsurgery at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York, NY.
She is a member of the prospective IT Matters – The Erectile Restoration Registry – sponsored by Boston Scientific and the Society of Urologic Prosthetic Surgeons Patient Enrollment Registry (SUPPER) penile implant registry. She is Co-PI on an NIH funded grant: NIH-NCI-R01 (CA258994-01A1) which is a randomized trial of PSMA-PET imaging prior to surgery to guide nerve and muscle preservation during robotic prostatectomy which measures sexual health outcomes and other quality of life measures. She is also a scientific reviewer for numerous peer-reviewed journals.
She is passionate about men’s health, cancer survivorship and fertility preservation. She treats all aspects of Men’s Health to include all male sexual dysfunctions and infertility. She started the Male Sexual and Reproductive Medicine program at Indiana University and founded the Fertility Preservation program which is in its 4th year. She regularly lectures and teaches the residents and medical students as education and mentorship is important to her, in addition she developed the curriculum for the resident microsurgery training program.
She is an active member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America and the International Society of Sexual Medicine where she holds local and international roles serving as chair of the social media committee, and member in the young clinicians, educational projects and men’s health committees. Dr. Bernie is also a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine where she has won awards for best video on her surgical techniques for “No Scalpel Vasectomy” and is on the Society for Male Reproduction and Urology’s Social Media Committee. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys.

Martin S. Gross, MD is an Associate Professor of Surgery (Urology) at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College. He is the Men’s Health specialist for Dartmouth Health. He graduated from UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School and completed his Urology residency at Boston University Medical Center. He subsequently completed a Men’s Health fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. He has coauthored over 300 peer-reviewed journal articles, abstracts, videos and book chapters. His research publications have garnered multiple awards. He serves on a number of journal and specialty society boards, including The Journal of Urology, the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, and the Hispanic Urologists Society of North America. He is an Associate Editor for The Journal of Sexual Medicine and the Video Journal of Sexual Medicine. He teaches about Men’s Health and provides penile prosthetic surgical training both domestically and internationally. His clinical interests include complex penile prosthesis surgery, penile prosthesis infection prevention, and the treatment of Peyronie’s disease, male stress urinary incontinence, chronic orchialgia and hypogonadism.

Sevann Helo M.D., is a urologist with specialty interest in male infertility and male sexual dysfunction. Her clinical focus includes: -Expertise in management of complex male infertility cases -Evaluation and management of male sexual dysfunction -Coordination of care with the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility providers -Evaluation and surgical management of chronic testicular pain -Surgical management of benign testicular disorders -Promoting each patient's understanding of disease and empowering patients to become partners in managing their health In addition to her clinical activities, Dr. Helo is active in research and education, providing mentorship to residents and fellows. She authors expert content and publishes in high-impact scientific journals.

Dr. Lawrence Jenkins, MD, MBA, FACS, received his medical degree with research honors from the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York. His Internship and Residency were both completed at the University of Miami where he also served as a Chief Resident. Following his residency training, he completed a fellowship in Male Sexual and Reproductive Medicine at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center; and Male Infertility and Microsurgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medical College. He also completed a Master’s in Business Administration at The State University of New York University at Buffalo with a focus in healthcare management. Dr. Jenkins held the position of Assistant Professor – Clinical within the Department of Urology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio where he built a multidisciplinary program for Men’s Sexual Health and Fertility. He also served as Medical Director at their NCCN Cancer Center where he assisted in building the program for Male Fertility Preservation and Reproductive Health. Dr. Jenkins has received many awards and honors throughout his education and career, and has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and several textbook chapters in his fields of study. He is a member of the American Urological Association and is currently a board member for the Sexual Medicine Society of North America. He is board certified with the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Carol Podlasek joined the faculty of the University of Illinois at Chicago in July of 2014, serving as Associate Professor in the Department of Urology.  She is an internationally recognized expert in the field of erectile dysfunction (ED) and peripheral nerve regeneration.  Her research examines the role of nerve injury in the development of ED, which affects ~ 50% of men aged 40 to 70 and has a high impact on men’s health and quality of life.  Current treatments with PDE5 inhibitors are ineffective in the difficult to treat prostatectomy and diabetic patients due to injury to the cavernous nerve.  Thus her laboratory focuses on how signaling is altered between penile smooth muscle/endothelium and the nerve/smooth muscle interface.  They seek crucial regulators of these pathways in order to develop novel ED treatments.  However, their findings are also applicable to peripheral nerve injury that occurs with diabetes and aging, and reflect a global understanding of how innervation establishes and maintains tissue morphology.  Dr. Podlasek’s laboratory was the first to demonstrate the role of the cavernous nerve and the Sonic hedgehog pathway in maintaining penile architecture, they determined how signaling is altered in ED disease models and patients, and developed a therapy to promote regeneration and functional recovery, that may be translated to ED patients.

Dr. Podlasek is also a member of the American Urological Association where she has served on the abstract selection committee since 2012, and has participated in defining the core curriculum for the AUA.  She has also served on the awards committee for the International Society of Sexual Medicine.  Dr. Podlasek is an ad hoc reviewer for the NIH special emphasis panel in urology.  Dr. Podlasek earned a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame in 1994 and first became interested in Urology during a postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University, where she studied the role of Hox genes in urogenital development, and later served as faculty from 2001-2014.

Dr. Daniel N. Watter received his doctoral degree from New York University in 1985 and has also earned a post-graduate certificate in Medical Humanities (with a concentration in medical ethics) from Drew University. He is licensed as both a psychologist and a marital and family therapist. In addition, he is Board Certified in Sex Therapy by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT), and the American Board of Sexology (ACS), of which is also holds Fellowship status. Dr. Watter is an AASECT certified sex therapy supervisor and has been elected to Fellowship Status in the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA).

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Watter has held several faculty appointments. Currently, he is a faculty member at the University of Michigan School of Social Work’s Sexual Certification Program and the Modern Sex Therapy Institutes. He has served as an adjunct professor of Psychology at Fairleigh Dickinson, Drew, and Seton Hall Universities, a clinical instructor of OB/GYN and Women’s Health at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School, and a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral medicine at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Watter is also a former member of the medical staff of the Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, and served on the Medical Center’s Ethics Committee.

Dr. Watter is a member of several professional organizations and has been elected to leadership positions in many. He has completed two terms on the New Jersey Psychological Association’s Ethics Committee where he spent two years as the Committee’s chairperson. He has also served two terms as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Society for Sex Therapy and Research (SSTAR), where he previously served as Membership Officer. Dr. Watter is also the former chair of the Diplomate Certification Committee for the American Association for Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). From 2019-2021 he was the Chair of the AASECT Ethics Advisory Committee. Currently, he is a Past-President of SSTAR. In 2009, Dr. Watter was appointed by New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine to the State Board of Psychological Examiners. He was reappointed by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie in 2017.

A frequent lecturer at professional meetings throughout North America, Dr. Watter is the author of more than 30 professional articles and book chapters on topics such as sexual function and dysfunction, and ethics in healthcare practice. He is the author of the recently released book, “The Existential Importance of the Penis: A Guide to Understanding Male Sexuality (Routledge)”.

Dr. Matthew Ziegelmann is a urologist specializing in male sexual dysfunction at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his general surgery and urological surgery training at Mayo Clinic. He then pursued advanced fellowship training focusing on male sexual dysfunction at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Dr. Ziegelmann's has expertise in managing all aspects of male sexual dysfunction, with a particular interest in the evaluation and management of Peyronie's Disease (both non-surgical and surgical including penile traction, intralesional injections, penile plication, plaque incision and grafting, and complex penile prosthesis placement) and penile prosthetics.
