Eligibility of Institution:
- Accredited program or appropriately affiliated with an accredited program
- Verification that urology residency requirements have been satisfied:
- ACGME (program should be listed at the following link: https://freida.ama-assn.org/Freida/#/)
- ABU (certification from the American Board of Urology)
Eligibility of Program Director/Mentor:
- Completed a SMSNA approved fellowship in sexual medicine
- Senior SMSNA members requesting exemption to this rule must be active members of the SMSNA and attend fellowship director meetings held biannually
- A Fellow Member of the SMSNA or member that meets/exceeds the following criteria:
- Membership in the American Urological Association (AUA) and the International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM)
- Three or more years of active membership in SMSNA
- Attendance at a SMSNA Scientific Meeting within the past 2 years
- 75% or more of clinical activity devoted to sexual medicine
