Fellowship Overview
This is a comprehensive male reproductive medicine and surgery experience. High volume microsurgery,
penile prosthetics and Peyronie’s surgery. Virtually no general urology. Faculty call 2-3 weeks a year, no
trauma. High clinic volume, 100 patients a day, even mix of hypogonadism, sexual medicine and infertility.
Excellent clinical support with scribes, APPs and clinical research team. Must have California medical
license, option for moonlighting. High level of autonomy for ambitious, skilled fellows.
Research Focus
Basic science, led by Sriram Eleswarapu, MD, PhD focuses on penile tissue engineering. Clinical research
varies from hypogonadism, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s Disease. Large research group of under grads,
post-docs, medical students and residents. Fellows often jump on longitudinal projects and mentor
residents, Med students to present at SMSNA, AUA and ASRM.

Conference Schedule
Weekly Grand Rounds, resident teaching quarterly, fellows funded for SMSNA, AUA and any conference within reason they have accepted presentations at during tenure at UCLA. Monthly endocrine conference, quarterly Reproductive Endocrine Conference, annual UCLA Star of the Art.

Interested candidates are encouraged to visit Los Angeles for an onsite interview and spend a day or two in the clinic and operating room with faculty. If an interested candidate is not able to travel to Los Angeles, they can schedule a Zoom interview with Dr. Mills, Keith Regets, PA-C, and the current fellows. No preference will be given to candidates electing either format.
