Advanced Practice Providers (APP)
The Advanced Practice Providers (APP) Committee focuses on advancing the skills and professional development of APPs in sexual health. Its primary role is to deliver practical, evidence-based training to support high standards of patient care, and to create networking opportunities. The committee’s responsibilities include offering educational resources, clarifying the role of APPs in sexual health medicine, fostering mentorship, and recruiting APPs to join the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA). Key events include the Essentials in Sexual Health Course, APP Bootcamp, Networking Event at the Annual Fall Scientific Meeting, and more.
